Guest Speaker: Michele Kato - CTG Energetics
Topic: This presentation will explore questions an organization will typically ask when beginning a corporate sustainability program and some of the reasons for pursuing sustainability. The intent of the roundtable discussion is to explore the social, environmental and financial benefits of Corporate Sustainability programs, with a focus on process, metrics and results.
Michele Kato works for CTG Energetics, specializing in Corporate Sustainability, including policy, codes and standards development, as well as portfolio program development, sustainable facilities and new construction. In addition, she serves as a reviewer of completed Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects for the USGBC, providing oversight to project teams regarding their LEED compliance.
Come meet others interested in going green at SBLC's monthly meeting. Open to anyone interested in going green!
Share with business owners, executives, and other regional leaders what you do that is eco-friendly. Even if you do not do anything "Green" and just want to learn; you are welcome to join us.
